Trying to locate: Anyone who knew Spec 4 Robert Smith.

Branch of Service: Army.

Unit was: C-Trp 1/4 Cav 1st Infantry Division.

Where served: Somewhere near Ben Cat.

When served: April 1967 - April 1968.

Message is: I am Robert's brother. He was killed on April 3, 1968 by ambush very near the town of Ben Cat. He was only 10 days from DEROS. He was a tank driver. In a picture he sent me, I noted the fact that he painted the word "CAJUN" on the turret of his tank. I only want to communicate with anyone who knew him, I guess as a form of closure for me. There may be someone out there who might have pictures of him. He was red headed also. Please contact: Jerry L.
